Meet the team behind aecre consulting.

Taylor spent years building the technical methodology behind tax incentive studies. Brandon spent years on the other side, building the client relationships and growth strategies that bring those studies to market. They started aecre because they had each seen what happens when one side outpaces the other: great engineering with no clients, or aggressive sales with thin deliverables.

What makes the partnership work is that neither stays in his lane. Taylor is as comfortable on a sales call as he is behind a spreadsheet or terminal screen, and Brandon knows the incentive landscape well enough to consult and deliver alongside the technical team. That overlap is intentional. It means clients get senior attention at every stage, not a handoff from the person who sold the work to someone they've never met.

Taylor is a licensed Professional Engineer with active credentials across 47 states and jurisdictions and over a decade of multi-discipline engineering experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, and renewable hydrogen, spanning major project engineering, instrumentation and controls, compressor applications, and pressure vessel design.

He brought that technical depth into the tax incentive space, where he has built and led two 179D practices, performed hundreds of field inspections, and delivered thousands of studies across 179D and R&D engagements. At aecre, Taylor builds the methodology, tools, and deliverables that power every study the firm produces. He also leads business development strategy, trains sales teams, and is usually the person on the other end of a technical question.

Brandon brings over 20 years of business development and technology sales experience to aecre. He spent six years at a major global tax incentive firm, rising from consultant to senior management leading key accounts and international business. He then joined an international firm as Partner, driving growth strategy for their 179D energy efficiency practice.

Across both roles, he has spent nearly a decade educating companies, CPAs, venture capital firms, and professional organizations on the full scope of R&D tax credits, energy efficiency incentives, and other federal and state programs, with a particular focus on identifying industries and companies that have been systematically overlooked. At aecre, Brandon leads growth strategy and is typically the first person you'll speak with. He has an ear for understanding a business quickly.

Engineering methodology, study delivery, technical questions on every engagement, and deliverable quality. The PE certification and final report carry his signature.

Brandon leads

First conversations, scope and feasibility framing, growth strategy, and ongoing client relationships. The first call you take is usually with him.
